Why A New Episode May Not Appear Instantly

Private RSS clients refresh on their own cadence, so ready audio is not globally instant.

Roast can finish processing before your podcast app refreshes the private feed.

That delay is normal.

The critical distinction is:

  • Roast status ready means the audio file exists and the private feed already includes it.
  • Your podcast client still decides when it re-fetches the feed.

If the inbox item shows ready but your app is stale, refresh the feed in the client or wait for the app's next refresh cycle.
